Changes to my study programme

Imagen
There are a lot of changes I would like to make in the journalism program. In the first place, I think it would be good to invest in the infrastructure of the faculty, modernizing the classrooms and expanding the spaces for the comfort of students and professors. Another change that I consider important is about the length of the career, I think it could be adapted to last 4 years or eight semesters as is the case in other countries. This will also help to reduce the financial burden for students. I think it would also be good to update the contents of the subjects related to the digital world in order to be able to work with the new technologies that are emerging and evolving faster and faster. An example of this are the new artificial intelligences oriented to the search and analysis of academic sources. As I studied during the pandemic, I did not have access to the recording sets of the faculty, which I consider a disadvantage. Therefore, I believe that these resources should be use...

Time travel to the future

Imagen
If I could time-travel i woulx choose the future, especifically the year 2223 in Japan. The idea of not knowing what's ahead and the chance to see new technology and social changes excites me. I would go to Japan because it's a place where old traditions and new inventions come together making it a perfect spot to see how the culture and technology evolve. Japan is famous for combining history with modern life and I'm really interested in how this will change in the future. From calm temples in Kyoto to the busy streets of Tokyo, Japan has many different places to explore and observe the passage of time. Also, Japan is known for its global influence in technology, robotics, and artificial intelligence. It would be amazing to see new inventions and how they affect daily life. Exploring the future of Japan would let me experience firsthand how this fantastic country continues to shape the world we know (or maybe the world we don't know yet?).  However i must say that a...

My Dream Job

Imagen
For me it was always difficult to decide what career I should study, and the fact that here in Chile you are pressured to choose a career that often defines your future at the age of 18 did not help much. I had very varied interests, from computer science and physics to history and Spanish language.  Finally, I chose to study journalism because it is a career that involves researching different topics on a constant way.  Now that I am in my last year of journalism, I have decided that I would like to have a stable job in an office in the area of communications, then I want to study a computer systems technician and in the future when I have enough money, develop my own website oriented to computer science, technology and digital journalism. (when I say "enough money" I mean enough money to pay someone to help me with the website, to keep a website on your own is really hard, especially if you are constantly uploading content). I don't know if I should call it my dream job...

The Best Holidays Ever

Imagen
The last time I went to a concert was 13 years ago, it was a green day concert at the bicentennial stadium in 2010, at that time I was 10 years old, so I don't remember much, so I will talk about my best holidays. I would say that my best holidays was at the beginning of 2018, the same year I started studying journalism, during that vacation I took a trip around Concepción, Santiago and Valparaíso with a couple of friends. We spent about a week getting to know these cities, for me it was a lot of fun since being from the south I didn't know more than the cold and the winter rain.  It also helped me to get to know Santiago a little better and to feel more comfortable since my classes would start soon.  The truth is that there is not much more to tell since we did nothing more than what tourists always do  in these cities (visit museums and try some food), but I plan to visit the north of Chile in the future and make it an even better vacations!

A Country I would like to visit

Imagen
Japan Since i was a kid (and due to videogames and anime) i think about japan as a country  i would like to visit. Obviusly is not the only country i want to visit, but if you ask me what country i prefer between all my preferences i would definetely choose Japan. There are so many reasons why i would like to visit Japan, but i'll do my best to explain some of them: I love asian food, and not only that type of western-hibrid food we all know, when i go to a chinese, korean or japanese restaurant i like to research about the owners so i can know if im actually eating traditional recipes. Like i said at the begining of this post videogames and anime are my hobbies, so i consider myself kinda a geek. There are a lot of anime studios in Japan and spaces dedicated to videogames, for example: The Super Nintendo World in Osaka. Also, i would like to visit Akihabara and  take a tour of Kyoto's traditional temples. I dont want to study or work in Japan,...
